Our Operations

At the surgical anesthesia and operating department, we conduct advanced surgery in various forms. We work around the clock and take care of emergency cases from the hospital and trauma cases that come in and need to be operated on. We have about 90 employees and operate 24/7.

Your Mission

In the role of staffing coordinator/healthcare administrator, you work closely with the department head and deputy department heads. You will work with schedule planning and staffing issues as well as various administrative tasks and serve as a support function for the unit. Your role includes, among other things:

  • Receiving patients arriving for surgery in the morning between 07:45 and 08:00.
  • Being present at certain meetings and taking minutes.
  • Compiling information for the staff group via, for example, our information boards.
  • Planning schedules in our HR and scheduling system Heroma.
  • Together with the deputy department heads and department head, you are responsible for the daily staffing of anesthesia nurses, operating room nurses, and nursing assistants, as well as covering any sick leave.
  • Assisting and entering permissions for various systems.

Your Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least a three-year high school education.
  • Ability to express yourself fluently in speech and writing.
  • Good computer skills and IT competence.
  • Experience of close collaboration in a team.
  • Documented experience of operational work with staffing issues and personnel administration in Heroma or equivalent system support.

Meritorious:

  • Experience of administrative personnel planning work.
  • Knowledge of laws and agreements in the area, such as the Working Hours Act and General Provisions.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a team player but can also work independently.
  • Has good communication skills.
  • Is attentive, flexible, and structured in your work approach, allowing you to quickly adapt to changing conditions and situations.
  • Can handle that the work can be intense at certain times. It is important that you are stress-resistant and can keep many balls in the air at the same time.
  • Has a commitment to creating efficient workflows, combined with an interest in logistics and planning.

We Offer

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply. You will work daytime, Monday – Friday.
